Sadly I have to report the passing of a good friend and long term member of CMC Karl Fehrle.Karl joined CMC in 1988 and continued to be an active member thru this past year. Karl recently celebrated his 103 Birthday several days ago and still continued to be very active and recently played his Saxophone in several bands including the Chatham Band.Karl also was selected to be Grand Marshall in the 2024 Chatham July 4th Parade.Karl was very well liked by all and will be greatly missed.Karl and his wife Dotte wilI be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne in a private ceremony. Rather than a formal service, a celebration of Karl’s life will be held in September. For those who would like to honor Karl with a contribution donations may be made to the “Karl Fehrle Fund for Community Music” c/o The Cape Cod Foundation 261 Whites Path Unit 2 South Yarmouth MA 02664.

I am sorry to have to inform you of the passing of Frank Tobin on June 21st, 2024. Frank was a member of CMC since 1989. A celebration of life will be held at Nickerson Funeral Home 87 Crowell Road, Chatham MA.on October 5th from 10am 12pm followed by a graveside service at Union Cemetery, Chatham MA

Sadly I have to inform you of the passing of a long term member and good friend Don Aikma. Don passed away yesterday. At this time there is no other information available.

I am sorry to inform you that a 15 year CMC member, Bill Wachenfeld passed away this Friday. No other information is available at this time.

It is with great sadness that we inform you that Robert Gibb, a friend and current member of CMC, passed away at Cape Cod Hospital. Bob was a member of our club since 2016. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday December 2nd, 2023 at 10am at Our Lady of Grace Chapel located at MA-137, South Chatham, MA 02659. The burial will be held at a later date.

I am sorry to report that a previous CMC member, Bill Ward passed away on Saturday. Bill had been a member for 20 years.

With sadness I must report that John C. Emison, Jr., a member of CMC since 1974, passed away on Christmas Day. John was 100 years old and the 2nd oldest member at CMC. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the First Congregational Church, 650 Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

I am sorry to report that Paul Puskas, a member of CMC for 27 years, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA with his family at his side. Visitation will only be in Pennsylvania. Burial will be in Peoples Cemetery, Chatham, MA on Monday, February 6, 2023.
